No more monkeys will suffer thanks to you
You’ll be pleased to hear that a laboratory we exposed, the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics in Tubingen, Germany, has finally put an end to its cruel brain experiments on monkeys.
In 2014, our shocking joint undercover investigation exposed the reality of life for monkeys in the laboratory. Our investigator revealed the monkeys horrific suffering when forced to take part in brain experiments using severe water deprivation, physical restraint and psychological coercion.
Thanks to our supporters, our investigation sparked a debate across Europe about the use of primates in brain research. It gained the backing of scientists, primatologists and animal welfare experts like Sir David Attenborough and Dr Jane Goodall. Now, because of your support and kind donations, MPI will no longer be subjecting monkeys to these brutal experiments.
On your behalf, we are now calling for the remaining monkeys to be released to a sanctuary where they can live out the rest of their lives free from the horrors of the laboratory. And we won’t rest until we’ve convinced everyone responsible for funding and licensing experiments like these to end their support for this cruel research.
